The work

Driftwood was one of the projects where project management meant coordinating multiple delivery roles around a live eCommerce environment. The work involved WooCommerce delivery, developers, design, testing and direct client communication.

My role

I coordinated developers, designers and testers, managed client communication through email and helped keep the work moving across the delivery team.

What I learned

Cross-functional delivery becomes difficult when ownership is unclear. A PM creates value by making the next action obvious, keeping dependencies visible and ensuring the client hears a coherent story rather than five different internal versions.
